1) Only the 60GB iPods cost $400.
2) A new iPod does not come out every month, Apple's just had some large changes to the line-up this year. In total, TWO new iPods came out this year; the nano and the video.
3) The iPod battery problem was ended with the 2002 2nd Generation iPod models.
4) Just because you can't afford one doesn't mean you need to be an ass about them.

Okay, in case you can't tell, I wasn't being serious. I've had three iPods. The first one actually broke, I had it replaced, then that one broke, so I just bought a new once since the newer ones were cooler anyway. And I don't believe the battery issue has really been resolved, as I've expeiranced trouble with it on all three.
And, while I guess your point is mute anyway since I can afford one, I'll be an ass all I want.
